Name: McCrae, Andrew Bowie

Previously with Denny Athletic and Falkirk, Andrew McCrae's career at Hampden was brief, lasting just one season and fourteen appearances, but like so many of his time the Great War put an end to his footballing career. Serving as a Acting Corporal with the 1/2 Lovat Scouts, he died of wounds at Gallipoli in November 1915, aged just 28, and is buried at the Lala Baba Cemetery in Turkey.
