Name: McLeod, Hugh Ross

Died: 23/04/1929

Born in Tain in the Highlands, Hugh McLeod played for the Strollers before breaking into the Queen's Park first team, his form there winning him an amateur cap against England. He was studying at Edinburgh University as a fourth year medical student when he met his untimely death at the age of 21 as a result of an attack of rhumatic fever.
