DoD: 20/02/1948, Stonehouse William Thompson was a goalkeeper in the clubs early competitive adventures in the Scottish Cup, making five appearances over three seasons. Outside of football he worked as a building contractor, and was a member of the Masons of the Trade of Glasgow Organisation, as well as a member of the Incorporation of Wrights. He was married with one son, and died in Stonehouse in 1948, aged 90.
