QUEEN'S PARK IN THE EMERGENCY WAR CUP

A one season competition which was held in 1939/40 to make up for the loss of Scottish Cup fixtures, which, similar to the First World War, was not competed for.

The sixteen teams who made up the Scottish Southern League competed for the trophy, and in the first round Queen's were drawn against Airdrieonians in the two legged tie.

Queen's won the home leg 3-2, but lost in the return a week later by 1-3 in the return at Broomfield.

Details of the home game are here and the away game are here.
