Since being founded in 1867, Queen's Park have played in over four and a half thousand matches, from the well known Scottish League and Scottish Cup as well as less well known competitions such as the Merchants' Charity Cup or the Glasgow Dental Fund.
On the following pages, details of our results over the years in all competitions are shown, and in the "Team by Team" section for each competition, all available details for each match, such as the Queen's Park team line for the game, as well as any other available information such as scorers, goal times, attendances and venues have been added, from our very first competitive match in 1872 against Wanderers in the FA Cup to the end of 2016/17 season.
Details of Scottish Southern League games, played during the Second World War (and regarded as unofficial matches), are also included in this section.
Where attendance figures are given with an asterisk, these are estimated figures from the press as many clubs did not issue attendance figures. Figures without an asterisk are either the official figure issued by the home club or, for games at Hampden, are taken from the Hampden Gate Book. My thanks also go to David Ross for allowing me use attendance figures from his research.
Needless to say, in an exercise of this size there will be errors and omissions. If you spot any errors or are able to fill in any of the missing gaps, I will be happy to hear from you at: mail at qpfc.com.
