QUEEN'S PARK IN THE SUMMER CUP

The Summer Cup was another temporary competition introduced during the Second World War and was played in a straight knockout basis between all sixteen teams in the Scottish Southern League.

Of the five occasions that the competition was played during the war, Queen's made it to the Second Round twice and were eliminated at the first hurdle on the other three occasions.

The competition was briefly re-introduced amongst top division clubs in the mid 1960's but was stopped again after two seasons.
