The Victory Cup was played in the 1918/19 season following the cessation of the First World War. With the Scottish Cup being abeyance for the duration of the conflict, it was felt to be late in the season to restart the competition once the war ended.

It was played between February and April 1919, with St Mirren defeating Heart in the final at Celtic Park, although the competition had been so hastily arranged that there was no cup to present to the winners after the final, although St Mirren did eventually receive one.

Queen's involvement was relatively brief, and after defeating Arthurlie in the first round, were knocked out by Airdrieonians in the second.
